SUMMARY:Webinar: OCUDU Developer Series (Episode 4): Understanding the OCUDU CI/CD Framework
DESCRIPTION:Understand how OCUDU maintains code quality and release readiness across a contributor-driven codebase. This session covers the full CI/CD framework\, from unit tests on every merge request to nightly end-to-end tests against real radio hardware. Attendees will learn how testing expectations map to contributor responsibilities\, how Retina orchestrates testbeds\, and how to reproduce pipeline failures locally. It sets up Episode 5\, where we move from the development environment into real deployments on baremetal hardware. \nSpeakers: Ranny Haiby\, Linux Foundation & Alfredo Saez\, SRS \nREGISTER HERE

SUMMARY:Webinar: OCUDU Developer Series (Episode 5): Bringing up OCUDU on Baremetal: Hardware\, configuration\, and connecting a UE
DESCRIPTION:Take OCUDU from a fresh install to a running deployment on real hardware. This session covers hardware platform considerations\, default and custom configuration\, resource requirements\, and the quickest path to a working RAN. Attendees will walk through two real deployments: a USRP X300 setup and a Benetel R650 O-RAN Radio Unit\, connecting UEs in a shielded environment in both cases. It sets up Episode 6\, where we move from a running deployment into Kubernetes-based operations. \nSpeakers: Nils Fuerste\, SRS & Ranny Haiby\, Linux Foundaiton \nREGISTER HERE

SUMMARY:NSF Breaking Low Connected Vehicle demo using OCUDU on POWDER\, October 16-17
DESCRIPTION:The POWDER team will host the 12-month demo of the NSF-funded DRIVE-SAFE project on Friday\, October 16th and Saturday October 17th\, on the University of Utah campus in Salt Lake City\, Utah. The demo will show trajectory-aware network optimization in conjunction with tele-operated vehicles. It will be conducted on POWDER’s OCUDU-powered wireless network and will include newly developed techniques for optimizing mobile handovers with the OCUDU software stack.\n \nIf you are interested in attending the POWDER event\, please contact powder-contact@powderwireless.net for more details.\n \nDRIVE-SAFE is part of the NSF’s “Breaking the Low Latency Barrier for Verticals in Next-G Wireless Networks” program. DRIVE-SAFE is a collaboration between the University of Minnesota\, the University of Utah\, the University of California\, Riverside\, and industry partners GM and Nokia\, and is focused on Remote and Cooperative Autonomous Driving in Dynamic Environments using 5G/NextG Technology.
