OCUDU Developer Series (Episode 2): Working in the OCUDU Codebase

After the project introduction and high-level architecture overview in Episode 1, this session focuses on how developers and contributors work with the project in practice. We will walk through the development workflow from issue creation and discussion through merge requests, reviews, CI/CD, testing, and release readiness.

The webinar will cover how to report useful issues, propose changes, prepare merge requests, respond to review feedback, understand CI/CD results, and meet the project’s coding, documentation, and testing expectations. It will also explain how the OCUDU team manages quality, consistency, and release strategy as the project evolves.

By establishing the contribution workflow early, this session gives developers the process knowledge they need to participate effectively.

It sets up episode 3, where we move from the development workflow into the OCUDU codebase, connecting the main architectural concepts to the repository structure, key modules, component boundaries, and interfaces.
