OCUDU Developer Series: (Episode 1) OCUDU Project Introduction Roadmap and Community

Description

The first in a new developer-focused webinar series for users, integrators, and contributors working with open, disaggregated RAN systems. Episode 1: OCUDU: Project Introduction, Roadmap, and Community This opening session, features Andre Puschmann of Software Radio Systems and Ranny Haiby of the Linux Foundation, introduced the goals of the OCUDU Ecosystem Foundation’s OCUDU Technical Project, where it fits within the broader Open Source RAN ecosystem, and how developers can begin engaging with the project. Attendees will get a high-level look at the OCUDU architecture, roadmap, core building blocks, available resources, and contribution paths. The session also provides context for existing srsRAN Project users, including what carries over, what is different, and how to get started with OCUDU in a practical way. This first episode sets the foundation for the rest of the series, including Episode 2, where we’ll move from high-level architecture into the OCUDU codebase and explore how key components, interfaces, and design decisions appear in the implementation. Whether you’re new to OCUDU or looking to contribute more deeply, this series is designed to help you understand the project, navigate the codebase, and engage with the community.
